Global Organic Textile Standard, GOTS for short, GOTS is the world's leading standard for processing organic fiber textiles.
GOTS standard covers the processing, manufacturing, packaging, marking, trade and distribution activities of textiles, with at least 70% fiber content in all organic natural certifications.
GOTS certification is built on four distinct and unique characteristics, namely: organic fiber, ecological and social responsibility, coverage of all processing processes, and third-party certification.
Textiles with the GOTS label grade "organic" must contain at least 95% certified organic fiber; Products with a label rating of "X% organic" must contain at least 70% certified organic fiber.
